This Privacy Policy explains how EstateIQ ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use estateiq.ae (the "Service").

- Account information: email address and any profile details you provide when you register.
- Usage data: pages viewed, session identifiers, approximate location inferred from IP address, browser/device type, and referring page — collected automatically to understand how the Service is used and to keep it reliable.
- Portfolio data: any properties, notes, or preferences you choose to save to your account.
- AI assistant conversations: if you use the in-app AI property assistant, we store your questions, its responses, and the property they relate to.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To send you account-related communications (verification, password resets, service updates).
- To understand aggregate usage patterns — which pages and features are actually useful.
- To review AI assistant conversations for accuracy and to improve the quality of its responses.
- If you have separately opted in, to follow up with you — including by email — if a more accurate or updated answer to a question you asked becomes available. This is a distinct opt-in from the general account communications above, and can be withdrawn at any time from your account settings.
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security issues.
4. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to distinguish visits for analytics purposes. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Resend to deliver transactional emails (verification, password resets). Property market data is sourced from ADREC (Abu Dhabi's official real estate regulator) and public UAE property listings; this is public/licensed market data, not personal data about you. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
6. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Usage/analytics data is retained in aggregate form to support long-term market trend analysis.
7. Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@estateiq.ae. You may also close your account directly from your settings page.
8. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
